*baby girl is still packing on the pounds – at the rate of about an ounce a day. she now weighs almost 6 pounds (like a crenshaw melon) and is more than 18 1/2 inches long.

*she is shedding most of the downy hair that covered her body, as well as the vernix caseosa – a waxy substance that protects the skin during its nine-month bath in amniotic fluid. she swallows these substances, along with other secretions, and they form a tar-like black substance called meconium which baby passes her first bowel movements.

*at the end of this week, baby girl will be considered full term. 

how far along:

*36 weeks.

*4 weeks to go. actually, my dr told me I won't make it to my due date. (: 

total weight gain:

*26 pounds. I gained 1 pound in 5 weeks...

symptoms:

*back pain 

*tired all the time 

*some more back pain

*& more sleepiness

 

sleep: 

*not the greatest, but I'm getting some. 

movement:

*shes still moving a lot. 

food cravings:

*still none. 

looking fwd too:

*having this baby! 

*spending the last few days/weeks with my baby boy before his a big brother! 

best moments this week:

*going to the dr Monday and being told I'm dilated to a 1 & that I won't be making it to my due date(: 

*being at the lake with family.
